About the Station

KBAC-FM, 98.1 Radio Free Santa Fe and its Program Director Ira Gordon were voted into the FMQB Hall of Fame this year and it’s no wonder. 98.1 Radio Free Santa Fe is one of the most successful Adult Album Alternative stations in the country. Combining eclectic programming, heritage on air talent such as Honey Harris and Joann “The Lunch-lady,” live on-air performances, and a commitment to the community non-profits, Radio Free Santa Fe has been the voice of the City Different for fourteen years.

Locally owned and operated, KBAC has 14 successful years of playing an eclectic music line-up and serving the Santa Fe and northern New Mexico community.
